Khuzestan International Exhibition Company, established on June 8, 1992, stands as one of the most experienced and significant exhibition centers in Iran. With nearly 7,000 square meters of usable indoor exhibition space, the company annually hosts strategic and specialized exhibitions and events, contributing to the economic development of both the province and the country. The company is located in the northern part of Ahvaz.

Vision and Mission:

Khuzestan International Exhibition Company has made economic and commercial development of the province and the country its primary mission, focusing on two main objectives:

1. Supporting the production sector and strengthening the knowledge-based economy
2. Expanding the province’s foreign trade
Each year, Khuzestan International Exhibition organizes dozens of exhibitions centered around key and strategic industries. In addition to being a major hub that strengthens the production system, the exhibition contributes significantly to job creation by generating more than 7,000 direct employment opportunities annually and by supporting affiliated industries. By facilitating economic interactions, the exhibition promotes commercial collaborations among various businesses, leading to countless partnership opportunities for industry stakeholders every year. These collaborations often result in major and long-term trade contracts. For instance, at the 2024 Oil Exhibition, approximately 40 contracts—including memorandums of understanding and agreements—were signed with the National Iranian South Oil Company alone, totaling about 110 trillion Iranian Rials (over one billion USD). Estimates suggest that hundreds of other contracts, worth tens of trillions of Rials, have been signed at the center over the past year.

Aligned with the macro-policies of the Iran Trade Promotion Organization, Khuzestan International Exhibition has adopted targeted strategies to expand exports from Khuzestan province to other countries. Leveraging the region’s substantial potential, the company aims to establish itself as a pillar of economic development and a gateway for Khuzestan’s foreign trade. In 2024, by attracting more than 75 major international traders through 18 foreign delegations, the exhibition has facilitated industrial and technological exchanges and attracted investment, greatly supporting the growth of both provincial and national trade.

Furthermore, to enhance its international presence, the company has laid out serious plans to strengthen exhibition collaborations with countries such as Iraq, Russia, China, and has initiated consultations to establish joint projects with exhibition centers in certain European and Asian countries. These initiatives are expected to promote the exchange of technological know-how and the growth of industrial innovation, opening new avenues into global markets. Khuzestan International Exhibition strives to establish itself as a platform for showcasing domestic products and introducing the province’s capacities to foreign markets, thereby taking substantial steps toward regional economic prosperity and export development.
