The National Convention of Exhibition Industry Professionals, entitled “Symphony of Solidarity,” was held on June 6, 2025, at the permanent venue of Isfahan International Exhibitions with the participation of a wide range of industry veterans, managers, and professionals.
At this event, Dr. Rahim Jalili, President of the Iranian Association of International Exhibitions, began his remarks by congratulating the participants on Isfahan’s status as the country’s cultural and artistic capital, the Decade of Imamat and Wilayah, and Eid al-Adha. Highlighting that exhibitions serve as the crossroads of ideas and action, and as the linchpin connecting knowledge to production, he emphasized the increasing importance of this industry and called for greater attention from elites and entrepreneurs. He identified unity, solidarity, and collaboration among stakeholders as the key drivers of growth and prosperity in the exhibition sector—qualities manifest in the convening of such an impressive summit.
Jalili underlined the unique and transformative role of the private sector in advancing the exhibition industry, stating that relying on private-sector experts and the government’s avoidance of direct management should be the main strategies for success—an approach repeatedly emphasized by the Supreme Leader and the honorable President of Iran.
He also pointed to the need for developing physical infrastructure, facilitating the entry of exhibition companies into the stock market, and benefiting from government incentives as prerequisites for the industry’s growth. “So long as the majority of exhibition venues remain outdated and inefficient, and the government continues its intervention, achieving global standards will remain only a dream,” he asserted.
Dr. Jalili went on to outline the actions taken by the Iranian Association of International Exhibitions over the past year, including active engagement with the government and Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, organizing export development exhibitions, strengthening training and networking among professionals, developing ranking systems, and introducing thematic branding for exhibitions. He considered these initiatives important steps toward organizing and elevating Iran’s global standing in the exhibition industry.
In conclusion, Jalili expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the CEO of Isfahan International Exhibition Company and the entire executive team, expressing hope that, with continued unity and government support, Iran will achieve a distinguished position within the global exhibition industry and send a unified message of readiness for international cooperation to the world.
