The final days of the month of Safar are filled with grief and mourning — days when the heavens of history weep in bereavement and hearts are draped in black. The 28th of Safar marks the heartbreaking passing of the Prophet of Mercy, Muhammad al‑Mustafa (ﷺ), and the martyrdom of his beloved elder grandson, the Generous of Ahl al‑Bayt, Imam Hasan al‑Mujtaba (AS). The last day of Safar commemorates the martyrdom of the noble yet lonely Imam, Ali ibn Musa al‑Ridha (AS) — tragedies that moved the earth to lament and the heavens to tears.

These days offer an opportunity to revisit the radiant mission of the Noble Prophet in guiding humanity, and to reflect upon the lives of the leaders of forbearance, knowledge, and generosity — those who devoted their entire lives to defending truth, safeguarding the faith, and reforming the community.

With a heart overflowing with sorrow, I extend my deepest condolences on these days of mourning for the family of the Prophet (Ahl al‑Allah) to all Muslims across the world, especially to the honorable people of Iran. I beseech Almighty God to grant everyone the understanding and success to recognize, and to follow, the path and conduct of these ever‑flowing springs of guidance.
