Dr. Rahim Jalili Commemorates the Anniversary of the Liberation of Khorramshahr

The liberation of Khorramshahr—the city of crimson martyrs—stands as an eternal portrait of resilience and unity; a nation giving its all for the cause of freedom and the dignity of their homeland. That historic day was a turning point in the epic eight-year Sacred Defense, and today, serves as a mirror reflecting the greatness of a people who never bowed to oppression or aggression.

Indeed, the 3rd of Khordad* is a symbol of the Iranian people’s pride and victory—a testament to the bravery and valor of this ancient land’s sons and daughters. On this glorious anniversary, while honoring the memory of the noble martyrs of the Sacred Defense, I extend heartfelt congratulations on this proud day and pray to the Almighty for the ever-increasing glory of our beloved homeland and the happiness and prosperity of all my fellow countrymen.
