Tehran, October 6, 2025 — According to the Public Relations Office of the Iran International Exhibitions Association, the Association’s Board of Directors held a meeting attended by Amir Roshanbakhsh, Deputy for International Business Development at the Iran Trade Promotion Organization. The session focused on strategies to enhance the quality of international exhibitions and strengthen the nation’s export capabilities.
Key topics discussed included planning for the presence and visits of foreign delegations to Iran’s export capability exhibitions, drafting and coordinating the national exhibition calendar, eliminating thematic overlaps between events, ranking exhibitions, and granting operational licenses to exhibition venues. The meeting also reviewed proposals for establishing new exhibition cities, organizing exhibition organizers in the Trade Promotion Organization’s vendor list, developing the Association’s digital platforms, and improving processes related to San’e Namayeshgahi Jame’e Iranian (SANJA Co.).
One of the major agenda items was coordinating the issuance of a license to hold the specialized Environmental Exhibition at Tehran International Permanent Fairground, set to be organized by SANJA Co.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Rahim Jalili, President of the Iran International Exhibitions Association, introduced Dr. Mohammad Masoudi as the new Secretary‑General of the Association. The official appointment was presented to him by Amir Roshanbakhsh, Deputy of the Iran Trade Promotion Organization.
